You need JavaScript enabled to view it ) is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Communications, Media and Culture at the Panteion University of Athens and at the head of the Advertising and Public Relations Workshop in the same Department. She instructs “Advertising and Public Relations”, “Social Issues and Enterprise Responsibility” and “Crisis Management” at an undergraduate level. She participates in two post-graduate programs of the Panteion University specializing in a. Cultural Management and b. Public Administration where she instructs Cultural Communication and Marketing and E-Government and Digital Communication, respectively.

Since 2007, she is a visiting Assistant Professor at the University of Cyprus, at the Program of Business Administration (MBA) where she instructs the course of Enterprise Social Responsibility and Ethics.

She is a member of scientific associations, of the Scientific Committee of the European Business Ethics Network (EBEN) –GR. Since 2002 she has been a member of the Scientific Council of the Institute of Communications and General Secretary of the Administrative Board since 2008. From 2007 to 2010 she was a member of the editorial board of the monthly issue of the newspaper To Vima, “Vima Ideon” where she edited retrospectives and published articles in both newspaper and website (www.vimaideon.gr).


Since January 2010, she has been appointed member of the Administrative Board of the TEI of Ionian Islands where she is the academic supervisor of the Department of Public Relations and Communication; since 2010 she has undertaken the Direction of Educational Radio-Television of the Ministry of Education.


Since 2008 she has been engaged in social media networking with articles on blogs, daily posts on twitter (http://www.twitter.com/tsakarestou), organizing podcasts and participating in public policy interventions (such as: campaign for public data, www.publicdata.gr), web-chat programs for the Greek parties in the elections in 2009 (www.deb8.gr), participation in the global discussion about pollution in the Gulf of Mexico (TEDxAthens Oil Spill) at the digital broadcasting workshop Department of Communication, Media and Culture of Panteion University (http://www.livestream.com/studiohill).
