Promotion of local products of the Ionian Islands in the domestic and international market

The objective is to promote as better as possible local products (Foodstuffs: olive oil, cheese, honey, raisins. Drinks: Robola Verdea, Berjami wines) at a local, national and, especially, international level. The objective is also to examine the possibilities and opportunities that exist under current conditions for the local production after contacts with channels of commerce and efforts to use modern (electronic) media promotion have taken place. For this reason, the international wine market will be studied earlier and a plan to promote specific products will be established in order to exploit all possible steps for the best promotion of the local products. Collaborations with the local cooperatives will also form part of the project, so that technical knowledge is transferred for a further exploitation of the proposal. The results of the study will be used in addition to other proposals that will be implemented within the framework of the program, aiming to enrich and satisfy their goals.
