The antimicrobial and antioxidant action of ethereal oils of the Ionian Islands aromatic plants and their use in food technology and medicine.

 

The objective is to examine the antimicrobial and antioxidant action of ethereal oils of aromatic plants such as laurel and myrtle and the identification of each component through the technique of gas chromatography. Also, cooperate with local producers in order to explore the potential usage of the research results in food technology and medicine that will lead to the production of innovative products.
