Seminar on the Ionian Islands Alimentation

 

The Department of Organic Farming and Food Technology of Technological Educational Institute of Ionian Islands, within the action Registry and Dissemination of Traditional Ionian Alimentation, is organizing an educational seminar that will take place in Cephalonia (14 to 19 January 2013), Zante (4 to 9 February) and Lefkada (25 February to 2 March 2013).

The aim of the program is to promote the local cuisine and its wider application in local restaurants.

Within the framework of the seminar a Sign of Traditional Cuisine is going to be created that will be given to local restaurateurs and professionals from a special committee that will be formed for this purpose. The Sign holders, after having attended the relevant seminars, will follow the traditional recipes, using local products.

The six-day seminar is free and is addressed to local restaurateurs and generally professionals of the area of catering.

The students will receive a certificate of attendance by the Department of Organic Farming and Food Technology of Technological Educational Institute of Ionian Islands.
