In order to obtain the meal card it is necessary to apply at the Secretariats of each Department. The following documents are required:
- A certificate of marital status.
- A photocopy of the identity card.
- A certified copy of the parent’s or the student’s tax returns (provided that the latter states an income) of the current year. Students whose parents are divorced will submit a tax return of the income of the parent who has the parental responsibility as confirmed by juridical decision.
- Any student who has a brother or sister who is studying at University or TEI or is serving in the army may submit a certificate from the Department or the military service.
- Two (2) photographs.
- A declaration of honor stating that they have no residence in the prefecture of Cephalonia and that their permanent residence is situated in…(address and hometown).
- Students belonging to large families will submit a certificate of their family status, provided by the Greek Confederation of Large Families.
- Students pleading health reasons for them or their parents will provide a certificate from a public hospital where the health reasons will be documented.
- A certificate issued by Primary Health Committee in case someone in the family has a disability over 67%.
- A divorce paper if the parents are divorced.
- A certificate of earthquake, flood and fire victims of the last two (2) years.
- A certificate from the Organization for Employment of the Workforce if the parents are unemployed.
- A certificate of registration of death if one of the parents is dead.
- Students whose parents are expatriates and also live and work permanently abroad must submit a certificate from Greek consular post.
