Database regarding the environmental wealth of the Ionian Islands for the development of ecotourism

The objective is to put down in record the known plants in Cephalonia, Lefkada and Zante as complete as possible and gather the data in an electronic database in order to be a useful educational and research tool as well as a means to demonstrate the natural heritage of the Ionian Islands. The ultimate goal is the action to become an attraction pole for the ecological tourism development in the area, while attempting to attract tourists through entrepreneurial partnerships with local organizations and entrepreneurs, as well as by providing material in other languages.
